GATHERING ASSETS |

|---|
You cannot gather the assets you need until you have produced detailed designs and got feedback on them. However, you can start to get organised.
Create an assets table
to record details of each source. Here is an example of an assets table to start you off.
You should use the first four columns to record the location of each asset you find. You only need to complete the other columns for assets you actually use.
The table should contain all assets from primary and secondary sources, not just images.
Save your assets table for your eportfolio. Keep it up-to-date throughout the project.
Rather than search for ready-made assets, it is often easier and more effective to produce them yourself. You will need to use a range of primary sources. For example, you could take photographs, produce drawings or make sound recordings.
Using existing assets
You should only use copyright-free material in your products.
