PROGRESS LOG

You must record the entire design process from the proposal through to the final game using appropriate methods including detailed storyboards for the screens, flowcharts, images, etc.

 

Remember the three Ds - Design, Do and Detail - Decide what to do, Do it, Detail (record) what you did and why.

 

Save these templates in your Development folder:

• Components log
• Storyboards
• Assets table
• Rules log
• Testing log
• Showcase log

Make sure that you understand what each document is for. You must keep them up-to-date throughout the project.

 

At the end of each session, make sure that you have updated all the relevant files.

 

Save the documents in your Development folder each time you make changes.

 

Timeline

This is a big project so you will need to get organised.

 

Complete this Timeline document. Use the timeline to show when you expect to achieve various parts of the project. It does not need to be detailed but you must show your overall schedule.
