As this is a fundraising enterprise, you need to make as much profit as possible. What will it cost to set up the event? How are you going to pay for it? How much will you charge? How much profit do you think you will make?

You must produce a spreadsheet model to find answers to these questions. It will be used by the team to help decide which event to hold.

Produce your spreadsheet model. You need to think about:

what information you need from it
what data to input and where it will come from
what calculations are needed
how you can reduce the likelihood of errors
how you can prevent the model from being altered
how you want the output presented
how to make it easy for others to use

Test your model using test data and a calculator.

Ask other members of your team to try out your model. Make changes where necessary.

Save your spreadsheet model so that the moderator can see both the values and the formulae.

Update your project diary.
