KEEPING TRACK

There is no point in spending all that time on the plan if the team does not use it to monitor progress and keep on track!

Each team member must monitor their own progress. You may need to make simple amendments to your own activities on the plan but any changes that affect the whole team must be agreed. One member of the team will need to make changes to the plan but everyone should check that the amendments are as agreed and record comments in their project diaries.

KEEPING A DIARY

A project diary is a record of all that happens during your project and you must keep it up-to-date.

Use a project diary to keep a record of what you do each time you work on the project, in class and at home. The diary should include comments on:

• changes made to the plan
• your individual work
• your contribution to the team
• the work of the team as a whole – how well everyone works together, problems you have faced as a team and how you dealt with them
• what needs to be done next

You can use any suitable software and layout but make sure that your diary will be clear to the moderator.
