D204 ICT in Enterprise Summative Project Brief 2006
PROJECT REVIEW
When you have finished everything else, you must carry out a review of the whole project. Think about what went well and what went wrong so that you can learn by your mistakes next time. Remember that the audience for this is the moderator. Try to be honest, even when talking about yourself!
You must consider these three areas:
1 The project as a whole.
Think about:
- what your team hoped to achieve
- whether your team met their objectives
- how well your team plan worked
- how well you worked as a team
- whether work was fairly divided amongst team members
- what you did if someone was away or failed to do their share of the work on time?
- whether your opinions were listened to
- whether you listened well to other team members
- whether the team chose the right enterprise?
- whether team members supported each other in their work
- the extent to which the team made good use of feedback
- whether you made good use of your diary to record your work and that of your team?
- what you would do differently if you did the project again
Use feedback from others to support what you have to say.
2 The enterprise materials
For each item in your final enterprise proposal, think about whether:
- it promotes your enterprise effectively
- it is targeted at the right audience
- you have added adequate comments to explain your proposals (as you won't be able to do this in person)
- you have only included materials that promote your enterprise
- all the items in your presentation are effectively linked
- the file format and resolution are suitable
For the evidence of your investigations of an idea, think about whether each item:
- finds useful information to help the team make a decision
- is presented in a way that makes it easy for the team to understand
- is tested to make sure that the information is accurate
Include comments on how each item could be improved, making use of feedback from others.
3 Your own performance
Questions you should ask include:
- How well did you work during the project?
- Did you keep to deadlines and targets?
- How did working in a team help you in other work?
- How have you benefited from working on the project?
- How well did you work as a team member?
- How well did the team work together?
- Would you work with the same team again?
- What would you do differently if you did the project again?
How will you present your review?
Your review could be any combination of:
- a word-processed report
- a verbal evaluation recorded in sound or video
- a presentation
- graphics
Try to make it as interesting as possible for the moderator. You could include links to relevant areas of the eportfolio to illustrate points you are making. Some of your comments on the publications will probably be included in your commentaries – this is fine!

Convert your review to acceptable file format(s) if necessary and include it in your eportfolio. Make sure that you include links to these files on the context/commentary pages and that they work.
