Background information
You need to get your facts right. Start by finding out about charities and sponsorship. You need to choose five charities which will be supported by the event and gather relevant information about them for use in your publications. You also need to make sure that your sponsorship form gathers the right information. Here are some websites to start you off.
Sources table
You must keep careful records of all the sources you use to gather information.
Create a sources table to record details of each source. Here is an example of a sources table to start you off.
You should use the first four columns to record the location of each item you find. You only need to complete the other columnns for items you actually use.
The table should contain all items from primary and secondary sources, not just images.
Save your sources table for your eportfolio. Keep it up-to-date throughout the project.
It is often easier to produce images and information yourself. You will need to use a range of primary sources. For example, you could take photographs, produce drawings, make sound recordings.
You should only use copyright-free material in your publications.
