SCENARIO

Everyone likes a good story and this is your chance to use your multimedia skills to bring a story alive. You will create a multimedia storybook that is more than just text and images. It must include animation and other multimedia assets such as photos, cartoons, video or sound.

The story can be about anything that would appeal to the target audience. It must be interesting or fun and presented in a creative way. It could be set in your local area, in a far away land, in outer space. Use your imagination!

The main story will consist of a sequence of pages but there is a twist. The story must have two possible endings, each of which leads to an animated finale. You need to think of a story where the audience can be offered a choice - for example, will the wolf eat the grandmother or will the grandmother eat the wolf!

You will complete the storybook by creating a cover and a contents page.

So, where should you start?

First, check that you understand the symbols used in this brief.

Next, read through the whole brief to find out more about what you have to do. Don't be tempted to skip this, you need to know what is required for the whole project before you start.

Create a storybook folder to store all the components of the storybook as well as other folders for supporting evidence.
