Before you start on any design work, make sure that you understand exactly what you need to do by reading the requirements for each component of the storybook.
Get some ideas by looking at existing products. Here are some links to start you off but you should try to find some of your own.
Complete this proposal.
Target audience. Is it an individual or a group? Is it someone you know? Is it for a particular age group? Boys and/or girls? Reading age?
Topic and style. What will your story be about? Is it just for fun or do you want users to learn something? What style do you want - fun, adventure, serious, etc?
Characters. Who or what will be in your story? Are they people, animals or imaginary creatures? Are they goodies or baddies? Will they be real or cartoon?
Outline of the story. How will your story start? What will happen next? Where will the action take place? Where and how will you offer the user a choice of routes? How will it end?
Animated endings. What type of animation will you use? What will each animation do?
Discuss your proposal with your teacher. You MUST get their approval before you continue.
Save the proposal for your eportfolio.
