As a team you must produce a set of marketing materials to attract attention and persuade people to buy.

Here are some examples:

• advertisement to be placed on the school/college intranet
• poster to display in your school/college and local shops
• flyer to hand out to your target audience
• 2 column double-sided leaflet to hand out with the product with information about the charity
• freebies such as badges, wristbands, pencils, balloons or goodie bags
• packaging for your product
• short movie which promotes the charity and your product

Make a list of the items you need. It must include enough promotional items to allow each team member to produce three of them.

Add any marketing costs to the spreadsheet model for the enterprise.

Decide who will produce each item. Try to share the workload so that each of you produces three very different items.

Produce the items allocated to you.

Ask members of the target audience as well as other team members to try out each item and give you useful feedback. Make changes if necessary.

Make sure that you are all happy with the set of materials.

Save the promotional materials in the shared area, clearly identifying who did what.
