ASSETS |
Alongside your designs, you must prepare the assets you need, such as images, textures, models, sprites, sound effects, music, etc. A good game is likely to require a wide range of effective assets.
You must use the assets table in your Design and Development Log to record details of the assets you use. The table should contain all assets from primary and secondary sources, not just images.
Find the assets table in your Design and Development Log. Keep it up-to-date throughout the project.
Rather than search for ready-made assets, it is often easier and more effective to produce them yourself. You will need to use a range of primary sources. For example, you could take photographs, produce drawings or make sound recordings.
Using existing assets
You should only use copyright-free material in your game.
