THE MAP |

As the flowchart shows, the map is the key component of the game. Players can only access the instructions, each level of the game and the code cracker screen via the map.
The map can be anything you like, it doesn't have to have roads on it! It must reflect the theme of the game and give players visual clues to what they will encounter at each level.
Here are some examples of interactive maps.
Design your
map using a storyboard. Annotate it to explain your design decisions.
Make sure you have all the assets you need then create the map.
Ask for feedback to make sure that it is fit for audience and purpose.
Save the
map in your game folder.
