TRIPS - Shortlist |

You should now have a number of options for each trip. The next stage is to decide on a shortlist of possible destinations.
Create a data collection table with columns for:
Enter the name and postcode for each possible destination.
N.B. If there are more than six records in any of your lists, you may select a minimum of six for the table. Make sure you justify your decisions.
Use the postcode to find the distance and travel time to each of the destinations in the data collection table. Record this information in the table.
Eliminate destinations with travelling time of more than 4 hours each way and any others that you think involve too much travelling.
Record the group rate per student for each remaining destination
Find out more about each of the possible destinations and what they have to offer. Estimate the time needed at each one. Add this information to the data collection table.
Use the information you have gathered to decide on a shortlist of three alternative destinations for each of the four trips. Highlight these destinations in the table.
Save the completed data collection table for your eportfolio.
Update your ongoing plan and use your project log to explain how you decided on the shortlist for each trip.
