The Make Space Club will use a database to store details of young people who sign up for the club.
At the launch of the new club, the database will be available on a computer so that new members can be entered.
Open the MEMBERS database and make sure that you understand what each field is for. If you are unable to open the MEMBERS database do not panic, ask your teacher for help.
Design a data entry form for adding new records. Make sure that it is easy for others to use. Try to include features that help prevent errors.
Create the data entry form.
Proofread your data entry form carefully. Make changes if you find errors before you show it to your test user.
Ask a test user to try out the form by entering their details. Open this feedback sheet to record their comments. Save it for your eportfolio with the filename FORMFEEDBACK.
Use the feedback to make changes if necessary.
Use your data entry form to add three more records. These can be from your class or you can make them up. Make sure that all members are in the correct age range.
Save evidence of your data entry form for your eportfolio. Make sure it is in an acceptable file format. Do NOT include the database itself.
